Not many people have been blessed with the kind of friendships that last a lifetime... Thankfully, the five of us pictured above have. We definitely have taken different roads in life, had a variety of experiences both good and difficult and yet once a year we come back together and re-connect. There is something both healing and energizing to be with people who know you so well there is no need for explanation, no expectations, just encouragement and love. Okay, enough of the sentimental! We had a great time in the Texas Hill Country... eating good food (Marco's in Wimberley, the Gristmill in Gruene, La Fonda in San Antonio, and Rudy's in Austin), floating the river, hanging out in Gruene, not to mentioned just getting to relax outside and talk and talk and did I mention... talk. Gotta love time with the girls! As a bonus, I also got to see my college friend Lane and see her super cute gift boutique in San Antonio.
